WELCOME FRIENDS!!!

Oasis
Donna Maria in her Oasis

It is great you have joined her. Blogging her memoir (life stories) in hope to help others. Spiritually, emotionally …  She has grown in many different ways, creatively, spiritually. The story, blog, books that she will be writing are faith based. The start date of this memoir journey is on the date of her first strokes, 7 September 2008.  Twenty plus strokes (clusters) and not counting. People ask her if they are real strokes; Yes they are, bleeds to the brains… Blood on or in the brain through a brain attack is toxic.  Then to find out after 30 something years she had (has) chronic Lyme Disease. But, the good news is she is living to talk to you about. It has been a struggle but loves to reach out and chat with you all. Sign up for the email updates at the right sidebar.

STEP IT OUT

I cried out to the Lord and asked what am I supposed to do about my situations they are awful. Looking back thinking, He gave me steps needed to take… Yes, he did.

Simple, but agony involved to get there dealing with others and such. Neurological hogwash crap stuff to go through. Prayed more cried out what do I do, O Lord! looking back went two steps back one step forward then three forward 10 back. Never why me… go forward with Him.  He on our side. Truely!

Oh, my God, what to do…? More steps simple easy does it trials happened, perseverance, prayer, faith wins, in the end, some buffering but sweetness got what I needed.… Grateful Praise Him

She wants prayers, not pity.

She will show you how (hell to sweetness, love, and faith sustains me, love sustains me) God is love. Love is God.

She does hope that you get something out of it. Let her know what works for you. We are all in it together as she says. We all have something.

It has been an adventure of life, prayer, spirituality, brain attacks, women hood, Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI’S), (Acquired Brain Injuries) ABI’S, Lyme Disease, digestion infection, food intolerances/allergies, dental work, histamine, relationships, creativity and other things that would interest you that she will engage you in. Sharing information all with you.

She will have newsletters, photographs, poetry in email updates. So join in and sign up. She will be posting once per week, having interviews, guest posts. A delicious blend of creativity.

See you again. 🙂 Peace ENJOY! Her blessings to you and yours Donna Maria. She looks forward to your comments and you all can chat. Thank you, it is great to see you here.

God love you!!!

  2. Hello Donna, so glad we connected through Kathy Pooler sharing my blog post. I’ve been perusing your blog and am impressed with all that you are doing, but most impressed that you write poetry. Poetry writing is something I just don’t understand, but enjoy reading. Are you familiar with the poet, William Stafford? He is a favorite of mine and a past Poet Laureate for the state of Oregon. His poetry takes me to a place of peace and calm. I’m looking forward to following your journey and will be praying for you along the way.

    Blessings, Sherrey

  4. I love it when I read a blog that speaks to strength and resilience. Yours seems to do so, and is very encouraging to others who are challenged. I personally get to mull over your words, and seeing how blessed you are, can feel even more gratitude for the blessings I receive. I work with people who have cognitive issues, specifically different types of dementia. Many have also suffered with strokes. One thing I know about these people is that they are thankful for what they have left, not bitter about what they have lost. I leave their presence walking on a cloud. Thanks for sharing your spirit with myself and other readers. Much appreciated!

    • Thank you for your support and comment. Great compliments it is great to hear I am coming across that way. I like this memoir to be helpful interactive a faith-based read and experience… I am glad you like it. You speak of your job thank you for sharing that means a lot. It sounds resourceful and helpful for all concerned. Right? yourself included right ? 🙂 blessings and stop by again …
